Paonia is one of a handful of small mountain towns that has a main street which is separate from the primary road. On that main street is the Paradise theater, which hosts both independent movies and awesome concerts.

KVNF public radio in Paonia has an incredible studio right on main street as well. They really help rally the local music scene.

There is much more too. It is definitely worth making a trip out to here for a weekend show and sample some of the local wine too.
